Another great place to shop for Word Processor products is Amazon. They have more than just books! Here are some more information for Word Processor: Using tables is relatively easy. Once you have made one table and adjusted it a few times to your liking, you will find it is an easy task. There are various reasons and ways to put a table in your documents. The first thing to learn is how to drop and drag a table in the document. You can also make your own measurements of how tall or wide you wish your boxes in the table to be. To make it easy there is an icon at the top of the page in what is called a toolbar. The icon looks like a grid with a bar on it. You left click on it. You will see on the left the styles you can choose from. On the right you will see the number of rows and columns you can use. The options are basic simple, modern, elegant, ledger. There are several different options to choose from depending on what you want to use your table for. Do you want a calendar, a personal list, a chore list, the uses for a table are endless. Once your done this will drop a table in the document. If your need more or less space in the columns and rows, then you will go to format table and change the height, and or width of whatever you need to change. If you only want to change one item then highlight the item by putting the pointer in front of the word, or box that you want to change and right click.. From there you will have many options. You can delete a column, row, or box by using the same method of highlighting the area you want to change and choose the option. you want to put bullets or numbers in the table this can be easily done by clicking right and choosing the option. If you decide that you want to darken up some of the boxes in the table you highlight it and right click and choose the borders options. You can also use the shading option to add more style to your table. If you want to add a excel table to your document this will be pretty easy. Minimize your document. Highlight what your spreadsheet, and right click and copy. Minimize the spreadsheet, and then you will open the document again. Put the pointer where you want to drop the table right click and choose paste special. Now this is most options you can use with the table. If you need to do something different you can always experiment with different styles, and sizes until you get what you need. Good Luck with your Word Processing. English has many words with more than one meaning - for example: 'can' - to be able to; tin receptacle. Many foreign language words also have multiple definitions. How can you ensure that you choose the correct one? Mistakes can be embarrassing! Instead of searching for a single word, prepare a list of synonyms (words that mean close to the same thing). The Word 'Can' If you want to find the word that means 'can' as in 'to be able to', your list might be something like this: Now, if you search for 'can' in foreign language dictionaries, you might discover the following in the English-[Foreign Language] section: * German * You know that German capitalizes all nouns, so you eliminate the first three words. The main definition for 'können' is 'to be able to', and the main definition for 'dürfen' is 'to be allowed to'. Therefore, the correct word in this case is likely 'können'. * French * 'Poubelle' means 'garbage can'; 'arrosoir' means 'watering-can'; and 'pouvoir' means 'to be able to'. The correct word in French is probably 'pouvoir'. * Portuguese * 'Lata' means 'can, tin, tin can'; 'ferro-velho' means 'garbage can'; and 'poder' means 'to be able to'. The correct word in Portuguese would most likely be 'poder'. The Word 'Check' 'Check' can mean 'check mark'; 'bill at a restaurant'; 'part of a pattern of squares'; 'to ensure or confirm'. If we are looking for the definition that means 'to ensure or confirm' we might make the following list: Now let's see what we find when we investigate the word 'check': * German * First we remove the capitalized words (nouns). This leaves three words to research: 'überprüfen' (to examine, check); 'kontrollieren' (to control, supervise, to check); 'nachprüfen' (to check, verify); therefore, 'nachprüfen' appears to be most similar to our desired definition. * Italian * A search in an Italian dictionary gives us the following partial list: 'Controllare' (to audit, check, check up on, supervise, verify); 'verificare' (to audit, check, check up on, supervise, verify); 'assegno' (check, cheque); and 'assegno bancario' (check, cheque). It would appear that either 'controllare' or 'verificare' would suffice. * Swedish * The list of results: Reverse-lookup gives us these definitions: 'besiktiga' (inspect, audit, check, check up on, supervise, verify); 'kontrollera' (audit, check, check up on, supervise, verify); and 'check' (check, cheque). It seems that we could use either 'besiktiga' or 'kontrollera'. Resources Use your common sense, books, people, and the resources on your computer. Whenever possible, try to find a dictionary that includes example sentences. Seeing a word used in context is the best way to zero in on its exact meaning. Word processor thesauri and grammar functions will be valuable assets. Online dictionaries are plentiful - use them whenever you can. Make sure that you have at least one recently published printed dictionary and/or thesaurus nearby. When in doubt, try to get advice from a teacher, a friend who speaks the language, or an online forum. Now, don't be afraid to make mistakes. That's the way we learn. Whenever possible try to use words in everyday speech. I had an important letter written on Microsoft Works Word Processor version 8.5. My son then used the computer and erased all my work and saved his own stuff on the same file. I am hoping there is a way to restore the lost information. Please help.
I am afraid not if he saved with the original name as it has now been overwritten using the same clusters on the hard drive. Fake Core i7 chips being investigated by Intel Thanks for visiting!
