my midwife is coming for a booking appointment at my home tomorrow?

what will happen at this appt? will she do blood tests? how long will she be here for?

Its already been said, but this is paperwork detail that has to be obtained by you midwife, gp or hospital.

At most booking appointments blood tests are also done - I think there are about 4-6 different test done but all need you consent and all are for the best for you and your baby so its nothing to worry about. Oh, and its only a once off needle!!

I just had all this done about ten weeks ago, so its still fresh with me. Your midwife might also talk about a birth plan briefly and give you all the options available to you. This helps you to prepare, even just in your head, what might happen later.
