Picture "pops out" of the frame

This is an easy task that can have dramatic effects. A portion of the picture will "pop out" of the original frame and look as though it has "popped" onto your screen.

Importing photoshop images with transparent backgrounds into flash?

Im trying to import photoshop images with a transparent background into flash but every time a I do it makes the background white again is there a way that Ican fix this or is it always like that?

Knowing Flash, I'm going to guess the image doesn't actually have a transparency that Flash can read when it comes in. Try using a PNG.

Using the "Save for web" function from your Edit menu in photoshop, make sure you are exporting as PNG-24 in the export settings on the right hand side of the box that pops up, this is the best format for importing transparant images into Flash. Flash will also accept transparant gifs, but they aren't as high quality.

++ Make sure you check the "transparency" box underneath the format drop down or the image will flatten with no transparency. Save and reimport into Flash!
