Good books about programming windows applications?

I'm currently attending a second year at a ICT collage and have mastered C/C++. I am looking for some books to each me how to build windows applications, preferably in visual c++.

All books are different - some focus on more theoretical aspects, while others tell you (with lots of pictures!) how to drag-and-drop components from IDEs (such as Visual Studio) to make nice-looking Windows applications.

Beings you already know C++ well, you may just want a guide to how to make Windows applications with a specific IDE.

Apress do good books in this style. Look on Amazon, read some reviews, and try to get a feel for whether the book matches your ability level.
