Here are some more information for Step Step:

Studying for the USMLE Step 1 exam can be a very difficult task since you are knee-deep in your basic science studies at the exact same time that you should be starting your preparation. Because this is such a difficult task to accomplish, I would like to share with you something a great professor of mine shared with me on my first day of medical school.
He gave me a few tips that would not only help keep me focused on getting the best grades possible in the basic sciences, but tips that would concurrently help me get into the zone for the USMLE exam and also help me to significantly cut down on the time needed and the stress associated with studying for the Step 1 exam
Here are the top six tips I was given, and I hope they will help you to excel in both your basic science grades and on your Step 1 exam:
Tip #1 - Bring a USMLE review book to all your classes
The reason for doing this is two-fold; the first reason for this is to add more details to your study guides and the second reason is to get so familiar with your study guide that you know the whole thing by memory by the time the Step 1 exam rolls around.
Tip #2 - Set your mind to the USMLE prep zone from day 1
Even though your immediate goal while in the basic sciences is to get good grades, you should try to get yourself in the frame of mind for USMLE preparation. When you do this, you prepare your mind for that exam, and even though it is a ways away, your ultimate goal in medical school will be to do well on your board exams, because these days it is the most important factor for getting a residency position.
Tip #3 - Dedicate 1hr per week to reviewing your Step 1 prep guide
Setting aside only 1 hour per week to review your study guide as well as the new additions you've made to it can help you to prepare for your boards as well as give you a leg-up on your basic science courses. Nobody will be doing this, and so you can really get ahead of the curve with this trick.
Tip #4 - Start using a question bank from day 1
The importance of using a question bank immediately cannot be over-stressed. Get yourself the longest subscription you can and then aim to do around 5-10 per day, as this will help you learn more for your classes and it will significantly simplify your intense studying the months before the exam.
Tip #5 - Build your own workbook of high-yield facts from your question bank
Not only should you be doing questions early on in your medical career, but you should be making notes along the way. What this does is it gives you another awesome study guide and it will help you best prepare for your Step 1 exam. This will also serve as a great review source for your later medical school years as well as into your residency.
Tip #6 - When you start your intense Step 1 prep (after your basic sciences are over), use your study guide and your question bank study guide
If you have taken the advice from above and implemented it, you will have two amazing sources from which you can study for the Step 1 exam. Because you made these yourself and have been building them and their quality over 2 years, you will be prepared above-and-beyond 99% of the people who will be sitting for this exam.
Do you want a top quality, high-yield study guide written by someone who has written and scored above average on the USMLE Step 1 exam?

How to Preform A Forehand Slash in Tennis-4 Uncomplicated Steps
The forehand slash is extremely popular in the game of Tennis. This move is on average used to hit the ball diagonally over the net. The forehand move refers to smacking the ball when your forearm is facing the net. When the ball is on the side of your body clenching the racket (right side if you are right handed, left side if you are left handed) you will be using the forehand. To achieve a superb forehand slice, follow these steps:
Step 1: Get ready and get in position. If you know the ball is going to your strong side, adjust to hit a forehand. First, side step (or shuffle) over to the ball. At this point your body should be facing the net, but remember to keep your eyes on the ball.
Step 2: Open up your stance. This is the part where you need to turn yourself sideways. To do this, turn your backfoot so it is parallel with the baseline and the net. Simultaneously, take a small step forward with your other foot (this foot will be your left if you are right handed, or your right foot if you are left handed). Bend your knees and prepare for the ball to enter into your hitting range.
Step 3: Make contact with the ball. This step should occur less than a few seconds after the second step. Your stroke of the racket should follow your step forward, causing the entire process to be one, fluent motion. Your racket should follow an upside down arc pattern. The slice should start up high about shoulder height, swing down to below the waist, and then be traveling upwards again when it makes contact with the ball. Topspin is your goal when playing Tennis.
Step 4: Follow through. After the contact is made, make sure you follow through with a complete stroke. Do not merely make contact with the ball and then stop. Rather, keep your arm advancing until the slice is completed, and then prepare yourself for the ball to be returned. Great job, you completed a forehand stroke!

How do I solve this multi step equation and do the alike terms.?
35= -5+2x-7x
please show step by step and exactly how to combine like terms and what the equation looks like after terms are combined thanks!
Thanks Sonyka! I would totally give you a hug right now if I could.
35 = -5 + 2x - 7x
The 2x and 7x are the "like terms."
Combine the like terms by performing the subtraction:
35 = -5 - 5x
To finish solving...
Add 5 to both sides:
40 = -5x
Divide both sides by -5:
-8 = x
Another step in jockey's rehab
Julia Brimo drove home from the dentist Friday. While it's a common occurrence for most people, for Brimo it reflects an important step in a remarkable but ongoing recovery for the jockey from an Oct. 30 spill at Keeneland. Doctors had predicted could be left a quadriplegic.
