Ok, what is the point of buying a prepaid time card for MMORPGs on the internet?

This seems like it totally deafeats the purpose of what one is trying to do by using prepaid time cards for the game that he or she plays.
It is becoming increasingly difficult to buy time cards in stores, especially when the only ones that are sold in the Gamestop are for World of Warcraft and Age of Conan.
But then also comes the risk of using a credit card online, although I can see what you are saying.

I agree that's stupid. The whole purpose of time cards are so you can purchase the item with cash not a credit card.

As for there decrease in time cards at your local game store...

If you're having a hard time finding games cards perhaps call different game shops and see if they carry the time cards. If they don't ask if it's possible for them to.
